Scatter Chart

A scatter chart (also called scatter plot, scatter graph, scatter diagram, etc.), is a type of mathematical diagram which displays and compares numeric values, such as scientific, statistical, and engineering data. The data is displayed as a collection of points, each having the value of one variable determining the position on the horizontal axis and the value of the other variable determining the position on the vertical axis. If applied when the analysis was created, the scatter plot can display additional information in reference lines or several different types of curves. The curve usually changes appearance depending on which values you have filtered out in the analysis.
