Exporting the Document in Others Formats

Edraw is well equipped for exporting the document to pdf, SVG, html and graphic formats.

Very often it's necessary to view or print a document on different computers and platforms. In this case, you can export the document in PDF format. By exporting the document on the html, SVG format, you can easily share it with many people. To insert your drawing into other documents (for instance, Word), you need to transform it into a file of some graphic format. To work better with MS Office program, Edraw can easily export to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Exporting to PDF

Edraw can export your documents to Portable Document Format (PDF) which is widely used for exchanging and printing documents on various platforms and operating systems.

This format allows to preserve the correct look of your documents.

To export to PDF, you should do as follows:

  1. On File menu, point to Export, and click PDF File.
  2. The Save As dialog box will come up, type the file name and click Save.

Also you can:

  1. Click Save As on the File menu.
  2. On the Save As dialog box, select the Save Type as Adobe PDF.
  3. Type the file name and click save.

Exporting to SVG

You can export your document to the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format.

SVG Motorcycle

  1. On File menu, point to Export, and click Native SVG.
  2. The Save As dialog box will come up, type the file name and click Save.

Also you can:

  1. Click Save As on the File menu.
  2. On the Save As dialog box, select the Save Type as Scalable Vector Graphics Format.
  3. Type the file name and click save.

Exporting to HTML

Edraw is well integrated with the Internet. By exporting your document to HTML you can easily publish it on the Web. The html page can include hyperlink over the image.

  1. On File menu, point to Export, and click HTML.
  2. The Save As dialog box will come up, type the file name and click Save.

Also you can:

  1. Click Save As on the File menu.
  2. On the Save As dialog box, select the Save Type as Web Page.
  3. Type the file name and click save.

Exporting to Multiple Page TIF File

  1. On File menu, point to Export, and click Multiple Page TIF File.
  2. The Save As dialog box will come up, type the file name and click Save.

Also you can:

  1. Click Save As on the File menu.
  2. On the Save As dialog box, select the Save Type as Tagged Image File Format.
  3. Type the file name and click save.

Exporting to Graphic File

You can save separate Edraw shapes or the entire document in various graphic formats.

Exporting image

You can export to the files of the following formats:

MS Windows Bitmap

(*.bmp, *.dib)

Joint Photographic Experts Group JFIF format

(*.jpg)

CompuServe graphics interchange format

(*.gif)

Tagged Image File Format

(*.tif)

Portable Network Graphics

(*.png)

MS Windows Metafile Format

(*.wmf)

MS Windows Enhance Metafile Format

(*.emf)

  1. On File menu, point to Export, and click Multiple Page TIF File.
  2. The Save As dialog box will come up, type the file name and click Save.
  3. Also you can:

    1. Click Save As on the File menu.
    2. On the Save As dialog box, select the Save Type as Tagged Image File Format.
    3. Type the file name and click save.
  4. The Image Properties dialog box will come up, you can:
    1. To save the page or shape with the original size, click Original size.
    2. To save the page or shape with zoomed size, click Use zoom and select a zoom factor you want.
    3. To save the page or shape with special size, click the Fit to size and type the value you want.
    4. To save the active page, click Whole page.
    5. To save all the pages in the document, click All the pages.
    6. To only save the selected shapes, click Selected shapes, if you selected shape.
    7. To save all the shapes in the active page, click All shapes on the active page, if you selected shapes.
  5. Note: You can see the content to save in the preview box.
