Copying text from other program

Copying text in Edraw

To copy the text:

1. Double click the shape with the text, make sure the text in editing state. Other ways read Editing Text.

2. Select the text you want, press CTRL and C at the same time or click Copy from Edit menu.

3. Then you can:

• Double click the shape you want to paste to, make the destination shape in editing state and press CTRL and V at the same time or click Paste from Edit menu.

• Press CTRL and V at same time or click Paste from Edit menu directly, then a new text block will be created with the copied text.

Copying text from other program

You can copy text from other program, such as Microsoft Word.

Then you can:

• Double click the shape you want to paste to, make the destination shape in editing state and press CTRL and V at the same time or click Paste from Edit menu.

• Press CTRL and V at same time or click Paste from Edit menu directly, then a new text block will be created with the copied text.

  Note You also can copy the text to the other program and the text formatting will be kept.
